Paris Terror Attack: The Extremely Dark and Unexamined Underside of the Charlie Hebdo Affair

John Chuckman
RINF Alternative News

We hear much about bloody events in Paris being an attack upon western traditions and freedom of the press, and I am sorry but such claims are close to laughable, even though there is nothing remotely funny about mass murder. It certainly is not part of the best western tradition to insult the revered figures of major religions. You are, of course, technically free to do so in many western countries – always remembering that in many of them, a wrong target for your satire will get you a prison term for “hate crimes” – but it does represent little more than poor judgement and extremely bad taste to exercise that particular freedom. What Charlie Hebdo does is not journalism, it is sophomoric jokes and thinly disguised propaganda. Hebdo’s general tone and themes place it completely outside the mythic tableau of heroic defender of free speech or daring journalism, it being very much a vehicle for the interests of American imperialism through NATO.

MIT Researcher Dr Seneff Says By 2025 Every Second Child Will Be Autistic Thanks to Monsanto’s Glyphosate Herbicide

[My note : There are many factors contriibuting to autism such as pesticides, herbicides and other toxins in the environment, vaccines, additives in foods etc. Anything that poisons the body directly and /or hinders body functions and process of digestion and absorption of nutrients is likely to hinder development of children and will cause disease in people of all ages. Glyphosate is one of the major contributors to autism alongside vaccines and is also indicated in other health problems such as kidney disease occurring in the general population. El Savador has banned this herbicide as has Sri Lanka ]

By 2025, half the children born in the United States will be diagnosed with autism, says Dr. Stephanie Seneff, a senior research scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. “Is there a toxic substance that is currently in our environment on the rise in step with increasing rates of autism that could explain this?” She asks in a 2013 presentation (video below) sponsored by Wellesley League of Women Voters. “The answer is yes, I’m quite sure that I’m right, and the answer is glyphosate.”

Dr. Stephenie Seneff

What is glyphosate?

Glyphosate, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, is a herbicide registered for use on a variety of fruit, vegetable, and field crops and widely used to control weeds. It is the active ingredient in RoundUp, a product made by Monsanto, which ranks as the number one herbicide worldwide. On the rise in China, RoundUp is a particular favorite in America, where genetically modified (GM) crops are bred to resist damage from the product — it kills the weeds, essentially, without hurting the GM plants.

The Future Is Local, The Future Is Not Monsanto

The US as a nation consumes more than anyone else, virtually at the expense of everyone else. The petrodollar system has ensured that imports into the US have been cheap and readily available. Post 1945, Washington has been able to take full advantage of the labour and the material resources of poor countries.
Consider that ‘developing’ nations account for more than 80 percent of world population but consume only about a third of the world’s energy. Also bear in mind that US citizens constitute 5 percent of the world’s population but consume 24 percent of the world’s energy. On average, one American consumes as much energy as two Japanese, six Mexicans, 13 Chinese, 31 Indians, 128 Bangladeshis, 307 Tanzanians and 370 Ethiopians [1].

The US is able to consume the way it does because of high demand for the US dollar: it is the world reserve currency. This demand for the dollar is guaranteed as most international trade is carried out using it. The international monetary system that emerged from the Bretton Woods Conference near the end of the Second World War was based on the US being the dominant economic power and the main creditor nation, with institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund eventually being created to serve US interests.
